Clyde Shanks was appointed initially to review a stalled planning application for a public house and secure permission. We were subsequently asked to secure change of use permission from an existing cafe to a high quality specialist Irish whiskey off-sales, aimed at the opportunity presented by growing tourist and visitor numbers to Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.

We prepared expert witness evidence and presented to the County Court.

Planning permission was secured and the Court issued a provisional grant of liquor licence.
