Appointed by Commercial Court Inns in April 2015, our initial role was to review a stalled planning application for a public house and to secure permission.  Having secured this we were then asked to secure change of use permission from an existing café to a high quality specialist Irish whiskey based off-sales, directed at the opportunity presented by growing tourist and visitor numbers to Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.  We prepared expert witness evidence and presented to the County Court to secure a provisional grant of liquor licence in December 2015.
