Clyde Shanks was appointed by Northway, a producer organisation representing over 30 strawberry and mushroom growers to advise on a £15 million proposal for an innovative in-vessel composting/waste facility at Ballygawley, Co. Tyrone.

A full planning application for the project was prepared and submitted informed by an intensive pre-application discussion (PAD) process with DoE Planning and statutory consultees in Dungannon. We also engaged in political briefings to secure DARD support.  Planning permission was secured within five months of submission, in April 2015.
