Clyde Shanks was appointed to review an undetermined full planning application for a superstore proposal on an out of town site in Magherafelt.    The application was the subject of a Notice of Opinion to refuse by the DoE, in addition to two other competing proposals.  A week long joint Article 31 hearing was convened in March 2015.  We prepared and presented evidence to support our client’s case, including co-ordination and engagement of an extensive professional team and working closely with instructing solicitors and Senior Counsel.
