The purpose of the website is to provide information on the proposed full planning application for “Proposed modifications to Royal County Down Golf Club Championship Golf Course”. The proposed development comprises proposed modifications to holes on the championship links – specifically the 1st,3rd, 5th, 11th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th holes. The aim is to make enhancements to the course to reinforce its status as one of the top golf courses in the world, and one of the most significant tourism assets in NI.
