Hillsborough

Clyde Shanks was instructed to appoint a design team with the aim of securing full planning permission for lands zoned for housing on the edge of the historic Hillsborough village and where an earlier planning permission had lapsed.
The proposal is a major planning application and has been the subject of PAN, PAD and PACC.  The design of the scheme, prepared by architects Alan Patterson Design, seeks to respond sensitively to this highly mature landscaped site and provide an extremely attractive and desirable new residential neighbourhood, comprising 45 new dwellings.
The pre-application community consultation was successfully hosted on our website and was favourably received by local residents.  The planning application was submitted to LCCC in April 2021 and is progressing well.
