Following a successful Pre-Application Discussion (PAD) with Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) in 2017, Clyde Shanks submitted a full planning application in late 2018 for a proposed distillery, tourist visitor centre, restaurant, bar and gift shop at Killaney Estate, Co Down.  Planning permission was secured within six months of submission following planning committee contested by a third party and work has since commenced on site.  Pleasingly the office also represented Hinch at Craigavon Court securing the mandatory liquor licence post planning permission.
