Hinch Distillery
The Brief
Following a successful Pre-Application Discussion with Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, Clyde Shanks submitted a full planning application for a proposed distillery, tourist visitor centre, restaurant, bar and gift shop at Killaney Estate.
Our Role
We managed the application through to committee, where it was contested by a third party. We subsequently advised Hinch at Craigavon Court to secure the mandatory liquor licence following the grant of planning permission.
The Outcome
Planning permission was secured within six months of submission. The site is now built and operational, with the liquor licence in place.
