Submission and management of a full planning application for a major Battery Energy Storage System with a capacity of 440MWh adjacent to Dromore 110kV substation.

Planning permission was granted by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council in July 2025. The development will help stabilise the electricity network to ensure a secure supply and contribute to Northern Ireland’s renewable electricity targets by increasing the amount of renewable energy in our power system in a safe and secure manner.
