Clyde Shanks co-ordinated phase 4 and phase 5 planning applications for 85 and 33 units respectively. This has involved co-ordination of architectural and wider professional team, public consultation, PAD engagement with Belfast City Council and preparation of full planning application submissions for high quality final phases of this very popular residential development on former Belvoir hospital lands.

Phase 4 was approved in August 2020 and construction is well advanced with the admin building completed and all units sold.

Phase 5 was approved at Belfast City Council planning committee in March 2024 with 28 detached dwellings and five affordable apartment units for the active elderly.  It is a key enabling development that will see the restoration and renewal of the three remaining listed pavilion buildings on the wider site for residential use and an orderly completion to the site’s development.
